Bruce Snider is the author of three poetry collections, Fruit (University of Wisconsin Press) Paradise, Indiana (Pleiades/LSU), The Year We Studied Women (University of Wisconsin Press), and the co-editor of The Poem’s Country: Place and Poetic Practice (Pleiades/LSU). His poems and essays have appeared in the American Poetry Review, Best American Poetry,  Harvard Review, New England Review, Poetry, and Threepenny Review, among others. His awards include the Felix Pollack Prize, The Four Lakes Prize, the Jenny McKean Writer-in-Washington award as well as fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Wallace Stegner Program at Stanford University, and the James A. Michener Center for Writers.
