Poetry & Fiction from the Writing Seminars in The New Yorker

Covers of 3 the April 14, March 31, and February 17 & 24 issues of The New Yorker.

It’s been a good few weeks for the Writing Seminars in the pages of The New Yorker. This week’s issue includes “Cirrus,” a new poem by alumna Rosanna Warren from her forthcoming collection Hindsight. Last week, the magazine published “Arms,” a new poem by alumnus Richie Hofmann, which will appear in his forthcoming book The Bronze Arms. And the magazine’s recent 100th Anniversary issue featured “Chuka,” new fiction by alumna Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.

Elsewhere, in this week’s Briefly Noted section, professor Eric Puchner’s novel Dream State has been added to The New Yorker‘s list of “The Best Books We’ve Read in 2025 So Far.” Adichie’s novel Dream Count was added to that same list upon its publication last month.
