Books

James Arthur is the author of the poetry collection Charms Against Lightning, published in 2012 by Copper Canyon Press as a Lannan Literary Selection. Arthur has received the Amy Lowell Travelling Poetry Scholarship, a Hodder Fellowship, a Wallace Stegner Fellowship, a Discovery/The Nation Prize, and a residency at the Amy Clampitt House. Arthur's poems have appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Review of Books, Poetry, Ploughshares, The New Republic, and The American Poetry Review.
