Alejandro Lucero’s chapbook, Sapello Son, was named the Editors’ Selection for the 2022 Frost Place Competition and is forthcoming with Bull City Press. His latest work appears in Best New Poets, The Cincinnati Review, The Florida Review, and The Southern Review, among other journals. He lives in Baltimore where he is an MFA student in the Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins and an assistant editor for The Hopkins Review.
