Nate Brown is a fiction writer and editor whose stories and essays have appeared in the Iowa Review, Mississippi Review, Five Chapters, the Los Angeles Review of Books, Publisher’s WeeklyLitHub, and elsewhere. He is the managing editor of the award-winning literary magazine American Short Fiction, and has received fellowships from the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing, the Vermont Studio Center, the Ucross Foundation, and the Maryland State Arts Council. Among other places, he has taught writing and literature at the University of Wisconsin, the George Washington University, and Georgetown University.
