The Writing Seminars is happy to announce that Joanne Cavanaugh Simpson has been awarded a grant from the Pulitzer Center.

The grant will support an element of Cavanaugh Simpson’s nonfiction book research, which includes police and government use of facial recognition and AI surveillance and effects on communities in various urban areas nationwide.
