The Writing Seminars is happy to announce that Mark Lasswell will join the department as a Visiting Assistant Research Professor.  He will teach a class in journalism and opinion for the department beginning in fall 2017.  Mr. Lasswell is the former op-ed editor of The Wall Street Journal, where he had also served as deputy books editor. He previously worked as an editor at the New York Observer and the New York Daily News, and was a contributing editor at Spy magazine.
