Ann Finkbeiner has written feature articles regularly for Science, Sky & Telescope, Astronomy, Mosaic, The Sciences; and columns for USA Today, and Defense Technology International; and has regularly reviewed books for The New York Times Book Review, Discover, The Wilson Quarterly, and The Wall Street Journal. She is co-author of The Guide to Living with HIV Infection (Johns Hopkins University Press, 1991; sixth edition, 2006), which won the American Medical Writers Association book award. She is also author of After the Death of a Child (Free Press, 1996; Johns Hopkins University Press, 1998) and The Jasons (Viking/Penguin, 2006; Penguin paperback, 2007), which won theAmerican Institute of Physics' Science Writing Award, 2008. She is currently writing a book about the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (Free Press, forthcoming).
