The Writing Seminars is happy to announce that Danielle Evans will join the department as an Assistant Professor in fall 2018. In 2011, she was honored by the National Book Foundation as one of its “5 Under 35” fiction writers. Before You Suffocate Your Own Fool Self, her first short story collection, won the 2011 PEN/Robert Bingham Prize. Evans has taught at Missouri State University, American University, and the University of Wisconsin.
